MOTO Credit Card ProcessingStep 1Customer calls in and gives the merchant his/her credit card information. The merchant manually keys the information into the credit card machine/ POS terminal or at a secure gateway.         Step 2The credit card information is sent to the First Capital Payments for authorization. Step 3First Capital Payments sends the credit card details to the issuing bank for verification. Step 4The credit card issuer verifies to see if the cardholder has sufficient funds available on the card. The Bank then sends back an approval message if there is sufficient fund or a decline message if there are in sufficient funds to First Capital Payments. Step 5First Capital Payments send the approval number or decline message back to the merchants. The merchant then prints a receipt for their records. Step 6At the end of the day the merchant settles or batches out their sales. Once the batching processing is initiated the issuing bank transferred the amount to the acquiring bank (merchant's bank). This entire process takes approximately 3-15 seconds.
