Mr. Hiram Hernandez Sr., a veteran who served in the US army during the Vietnam era and his son Mr. Hiram Hernandez Jr. started the company in 2000. Prior to starting First Capital Payments, the Hernandez duo worked in the credit card acquiring industry for more than 7 years. They sold credit card processing equipment and merchant services door-to-door in the greater Rochester area.

The experience they gathered gave them a better understanding of the nuances of credit card processing. They realized that there was an opportunity to differentiate their company from competitors by focusing on the customer's needs.

The corporate culture is customer oriented. We try our best to resolve customer issues within 24 hours. Our business solutions providers are trained to identify the special needs of customers.
